Muv-Luv publisher aNCHOR today (19th December) announces a new smartphone game project from the series under the title of “Project Immortal”. The idea first appeared as a fan project at the “Still Breathing” 20th-anniversary event a few weeks ago, and it is officially confirmed that the game is under development.
Project immortal adapts the original settings of Muv-Luv, which was released as an adult game for Windows in 2003. Players will be able to manipulate the Tactical Surface Fighters (戦術歩行戦闘機) to prevent the invasion of the aliens, known as BETA.
The project is created by a young Muv-Luv fan, Kitakuou (きたくおう), who presented the idea in front of the series author, Yoshimune Kouki (吉宗鋼紀). The project won the support of Muv-Luv fans and after discussing with general producer tororo, it is formally greenlit as a collaborative project between Kitakuou and aNCHOR.
