A collaboration of the miracle was previously announced between One Piece and Japanese boy band Arashi for their new single “A-RA-SHI: Reborn”. Apart from a collaboration visual illustrated by One Piece’s creator Eiichiro Oda’s (尾田栄一郎), the full version MV featuring the Straw Hat Crew was also streamed on Arashi official Youtube channel on 4th January.

In the MV, the five members of Arashi has gone missing as they fall into the world of One Piece. After knowing their disappearance from a newspaper, the Straw Hat Crew urges to rescue them on a desert island. The interaction between members of Arashi and the Straw Hat Crew certainly steals eyeballs. The MV ends with the Straw Hat Crew joining the concert of Arashi. A special Arashi Pirate Ship is also featured in the MV.
“A-RA-SHI : Reborn” is a “re-production” edition of their debut song “A・RA・SHI”, which was released in 1999, and has been released on 20th December 2019. The collaboration project is a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the boy band.
