The official website of Square Enix reveals two gameplay visuals for its upcoming “Kingdom Hearts” smartphone RPG “Kingdom Hearts Dark Road”. It is also announced that the game will be launched in the same app as “Kingdom Hearts Union χ”, which started service on 3rd September 2015.
Players will be able to select the server of “Kingdom Hearts Uχ Dark Road ” in the title screen of “Kingdom Hearts Union χ” and it is operated independently from the latter. The game will release in spring 2020.
▍Gameplay Visuals
The game will feature “Exhilarating” × “Reflex” × “Flick” speedy battles, where players will be able to select different cards to unleash skills.
The story of the game will focus on how “Kingdom Hearts” notorious villain, Xehanort, falls to darkness. According to the visual, Master Eraqus also joins the game with Xehanort.
▍KHUX ＆KHDR Linking Campaign
When “Kingdom Hearts Dark Road” is released, players will be able to obtain rewards (points to exchange cards) according to the percentage completed in the Medal Album of “Kingdom Hearts Union χ”.
