Square Enix today (10th June) announces that its upcoming smartphone game “Dragon Quest Tact” (ドラゴンクエストタクト) is set to release in summer 2020. Players can now pre-register the game via the official website or follow the Twitter account.
A new PV is also revealed to showcase the 3D action scene for the smartphone game.

Once Upon a time, the demon lord Orukusutera (オルクステラ) tried to destroy the world with his almighty power. With the legendary “Tact” (タクト), a human stood up against the demon lord with his companions (Monsters).
The human commanded his companions, who trusted him/her with their hearts, and they successfully sealed the demon lord.
The world is at peace again. But for some reason, their adventure story has not been told around. Time flies and the demon lord is planning for a second strike.
▍Game System
“Dragon Quest Tact” is a turn-based SRPG, where players can command the signature monsters from the “Dragon Quest” series in battles. The 3D graphics and action will be the highlight of the game.
Players will be able to form a team of five in battles. The monsters’ skill range and movement distance will be the key to win the battles.
Complete the quests and collect different items to nurture your monsters. You can also equip weapons to the monsters to enhance their stats and ability.
It features quests with 0 stamina, so you can play the games anytime that you want. Each monster also comes with an original story.
