Square Enix has recently revealed four new characters and the gameplay visuals for its upcoming smartphone game “Kingdom Hearts Dark Road” (キングダム ハーツ ダーク ロード) based on the popular franchise “Kingdom Hearts. ”

The four new characters are created based on the gods of Norse Mythology.

▍Gameplay Visuals
The story of the game will focus on how “Kingdom Hearts” notorious villain, Xehanort, falls to darkness. According to the visual, Master Eraqus also joins the game with Xehanort.
The game will feature “Exhilarating” × “Reflex” × “Flick” speedy battles, where players will be able to select different cards to unleash skills, and the cards with the same elements will unleash more powerful attacks.
The game will be launched in the same app as “Kingdom Hearts Union χ”, which started service on 3rd September 2015. The release date is not yet confirmed.
