Too Kyo Games x Pierrot original anime “Akudama Drive” (アクダマドライブ) is confirmed to premiere on 8th October 2020. A new visual, 2nd PV and additional cast have been revealed.
“Akudama Drive” is an anime project produced by “Danganronpa” developer Kazutaka Kodaka’s studio, Too Kyo Games, featuring the original character design by Rui Komatsuzaki, the main concept artist of “Danganronpa”, and animation by Studio Pierrot. The series was originally announced for this July, but has been delayed due to the effects of the new coronavirus disease.
SPARK!!SOUND!!SHOW!! performs the opening theme song “Steal!!” while Urashimasakatasen performs the ending theme song “Ready.”

Everyone is a Villain
The curtain rises on the criminal activities of the Akudama.
Long ago, there was a war between Kanto and Kansai, and the world was separated. Kansai became a vassal state of Kanto and developed independently. However, politics and the arm of the law decayed, and crime became prevalent. Those criminals are called “Akudama.”
The setting of Akudama Drive is a highly developed, but warped society. How do the Akudama act as themselves in this society? The virtues of the Akudama gathered here will clash.
