Square Enix starts streaming the main story trailer for its upcoming smartphone game “Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent” (OCTOPATH TRAVELER 大陸の覇者), which is set to release on 28th October.
The game is set several years before the journey of the eight heroes. Orsterra is a land dominated by those with Wealth, Power and Glory. Players will be able to choose one of these three routes to start the game. The trailer centers on one of the rulers of the land, “Greedy Witch” Herminia (CV: Atsuko Tanaka), who represents Wealth in the story.
Herminia is a millionaire who has built up a huge fortune with her beauty and financial strength. She uses a special “Powder” to bewilder the villagers in order to exploit their wealth. A newly formed mafia is waited in the dark to overthrow the power of Herminia.
