The two-part anime film “Bishōjo Senshi Sailor Moon Eternal” / “Pretty Guardians Sailor Moon Eternal” (美少女戦士セーラームーン Eternal) starts streaming the official trailer. The film’s first part will debut in Japan on 8th January, while the second part will debut on 11th February.
Actress Nanao is also confirmed to join the cast as Queen Nehellenia, leader of the Dead Moon.
The movies follow the Dream/ Dead Moon Arc in Naoko Takeuchi’s original manga and the anime’s fourth season “Sailor Moon SuperS”.
Takeuchi supervises the movie project, while Chiaki Kon is returning from the anime’s third season to direct the two films. Kazuko Tadano, the character designer for the original Sailor Moon anime, is designing the characters. “Miss Monochrome The Animation” series composition Kazuyuki Fudeyasu is penning the scripts.
Momoiro Clover Z and the main cast performs the movie’s theme song “Moon color Chainon” (月色Chainon).
