Aniplex announces that the “Cells at Work!” series is getting a new game developed by NetEase Games, the studio that created “Identity V” and “Knives Out”. However, no further information and release date are revealed.
▍About “Cells at Work!”
Written by Akane Shimizu and serialized on Monthly Shonen Sirius since 2015, “Cell at Work!” is about the daily life of various personified human cells and how they work. The series currently has five volumes. Over 1.5 million copies have been sold. An anime television series adaptation by David Production ran from July to September 2018. Its second season and an animated TV series of its spin-off series, “Cells at Work! Code Black,” premiered in January 2021.
