“Bocchi the Rock!” Four-Panel Manga Confirms TV Anime

Aki Hamaji’s four-panel manga “Bocchi the Rock!” (ぼっち・ざ・ろっく!) is confirmed to inspire a TV anime adaptation. Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara magazine announces the news on its official Twitter and the front cover of its April issue.

A new visual is also shared on the official Twitter of the manga’s author Aki Hamaji to celebrate the news.

About “Bocchi the Rock!”

The manga was first launched in Manga Time Kirara Max in December 2017. It has been collected into 2 volumes and its third volume will be published on 25th February.

The story centers on Hitori Gotou, a high school girl who starts learning to play the guitar because she dreams of being in a band, but she’s so shy that she hasn’t made a single friend. However, her dream might come true after she meets Nijika Ijichi, a girl who plays drums and is looking for a new guitarist for her band.
