Square Enix announced on May 7 that the closed beta test of the upcoming “Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier” mobile game has opened for registration.
The beta test will be held for Japan’s players between June 1 to June 8 with 20,000 players needed (10,000 for iOS & 10,000 for Android). The English beat test is available on June 1 to 7 only for players residing in the US and Canada and is limited to Android devices. Applications can be made via HERE until May 28. You will have to be a Square Enix member to register for the beta test.
Cp-developed by Square Enix and Ateam, “Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier” is a battle royale action game set in Midgar and tells the events before “Final Fantasy VII”. As a Soldier of Shinra, the player will use both magic and guns to challenge in the battle for survival. It will also feature a number of melee mechanics, summonable monsters, and RPG elements.
It is a new work in the compilation series of “Final Fantasy VII”. Tetsuya Nomura, the creative director of the series, will also serve as the creative director of this work. The game is available in 2021 in Japanese, English, German, France, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, and Korean.
