The TV anime adaptation of Rui Tsukiyo’s “The World’s Best Assassin, Reincarnated in a Different World as an Aristocrat” (世界最高の暗殺者、異世界貴族に転生する) light novel series has been delayed to October 2021. The anime was originally announced for a July premiere until this announcement. A new teaser video and the character design are also revealed.

■ Lugh – CV: Kenji Akabane
As a master assassin from his previous world, he is ruthless in killing the targets. At his last mission before retirement, he was betrayed and eliminated by the assassin organization. As he died, he met a Goddess who offered him to reincarnate with a new life or retain his memories and reincarnate in a different world, where he must kill the hero.
■ Dia – CV: Reina Ueda
She is a noble from a foreign country and one of the strongest mages. She looks way younger than Lugh but is actually 3 years older than him.
■ Tart – CV: Yūki Takada
She is extremely loyal and loving to Lugh as he was the one to save her from dying. As she has trained to become Lugh’s assistant and maid, she always wants to help him.
■ Maha – CV: Shino Shimoji
Macha is the daughter of a merchant and had received a good level of education. However, she became an orphan when her parents died. Lugh saves her from abuse in the orphanage and makes her a loyal servant in his assassination team.
▍Synopsis
When a great assassin is reborn in another world, he finds himself the heir to a long line of killers from the shadows. With both his modern-day knowledge and experience and the special magic and techniques of this new world, he could very well become the most unstoppable assassin in history…!
