Too Kyo Games and Spike Chunsoft announced Enigma Archives: Rain Code, a dark fantasy mystery game penned by Danganronpa series creator Kazutaka Kodaka. The announcement comes with a teaser visual and trailer previewing the quirky worldview.
Kodaka joins hands again with Danganronpa composer Masafumi Takada and illustrator Rui Komatsuzaki. Japanese mystery novelist Takekuni Kitayama will also be joining the project.
Though the release date and platforms have yet to be announced, Spike Chunsoft and Too Kyo have opened up teaser websites in both English and Japanese, suggesting a global release.
Kodaka commented on his Twitter that “the game is a masterpiece collecting all the elements of the mystery game that he made in these ten years.” Enigma Archives: Rain Code was one of the project that has been produced for five years immediately after New Danganronpa V3 Minna no Colisei New Semester.
