NCSOFT started streaming the teaser trailers for TL (Throne and Liberty) and Project E, two new original IPs that tell the story of two different continents with different histories but sharing one single worldview.
Throne and Liberty, or TL for short, takes place on the continent of Solisium, a continent based on the concept of the Western Middle Ages, while Project E takes place on the continent of Laisak (name subject to change), based on the concept of the Eastern Middle Ages.
▍About Throne and Liberty
TL (Throne and Liberty) is a next-generation MMORPG that is currently under development for a worldwide PC release.
The game will feature dynamic environmental factors such as day and night, rain and wind, all of which impact the gameplay. For example, the wind direction and its speed might affect the range of the bow weapon, and using Lightning-type magic during a storm causes a chain effect that turns a single attack into a ranged skill.
The developers have made sure to tune in the game systems so that a large number of players can enjoy strategic combat through the proper use of terrain features and the surrounding environment.
▍About Project E
Project E is a new IP that was first unveiled in a teaser video in February, and this trailer reveals an original narrative unique to Project E, a medieval oriental concept, and part of the worldview that connects to Throne and Liberty.
It has a story where a planet falls from the sky and lands on the oriental continent, greatly affecting the topography and vegetation. The name “Silrak Star” is an oriental interpretation of the “Star of Sirabes,” which also appears in the Throne and Liberty worldview.
Additional information regarding the connection between the two IPs will be released as it becomes available.
