G2 Studios and Good Smile Company revealed a teaser trailer for Black Rock Shooter Fragment, a new mobile game project that is set to release for iOS and Android in fall 2022.
The teaser trailer introduced that game’s worldview under the BGM created by electronic music producer and DJ, TeddyLoid. A new teaser visual created by Rui Tomono was also revealed.
The mobile game is developed by G2 Studios. Chaika: The Coffin Princess light novel writer, Ichirō Sakaki and novel writer Okina Kamino will work on the game’s scenerio. huke, the original character designer of Black Rock Shooter will supervise the art design.
▍About Black Rock Shooter Fragment
The project is based on the media franchise Black Rock Shooter, which revolves around a mysterious black haired girl with a blazing blue eye. The original illustration inspired a song of the same name by Supercell featuring Hatsune Miku, which gained popularity on the Nico Nico Douga website.
The smartphone game will follow an original story that is set in a completely different world from the previously announced anime adaptation, Black Rock Shooter: Dawn Fall, which will debut in spring 2022.
