King Amusement Creative posted a new teaser trailer for its upcoming Uta no Prince-Sama Maji Love STARISH Tours anime film, which is set to open in Japan’s theatres on September 2. In this teaser, we are given a sneak peek at the “live concert animation” sequences, with the members in white pilot uniforms.
Chika Nagaoka is the director of the concert movie. She is known for her work in Uta no Prince Sama Maji Love Kingdom, Detective Conan: The Fist of Blue Sapphire, and Detective Conan: The Scarlet Bullet. Maki Fujioka also joins the staff, adapting the original character designs from the franchise.
As previously announced, Hiroshi Nakajima is directing the CG, and Takeshi Ohkawa is serving as sub-CG director. Katsuyoshi Miyajima is the character model director. The film is part of a “new theatrical film series” that will be entirely composed of concert footage of the ST☆RISH idol group.
▍Utano☆Princesama New Single
ST☆RISH’s new single, “Maji LOVE Stalish Tours,” which includes the main theme song for the movie version, releases April 6, and a serial number for applying for the stage greeting by lottery is enclosed.
