The second part of the compilation film project Re:cycle of Penguindrum, is confirmed to open in Japan’s theatres on July 22, 2022. The second part is titled “Re:cycle of Penguindrum: I love you”. In coincidence with the announcement, a new poster was unveiled.
Re:cycle of the Penguindrum is a two-part compilation film project to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the original anime directed by Kunihiko Ikuhara.The project is set to re-edit all 24 episodes of the original anime while adding in some new scenes as well.

In addition, the Re:cycle of the Penguindrum MUSIC COLLECTION will be released on July 20. Among the ARB cover songs, “ROCK OVER JAPAN” will be performed by Sumire Uesaka, a new character in the movie version.
Furthermore, “Bokuno no Koto Shojo (Proof of My Existence)” performed by the Yakushimaru Etsuko Metro Orchestra and “Our Ground Zeroes,” the opening of the movie’s first part, is now available on various music streaming sites.
