The hip-hop multimedia project, Paradox Live, is getting a TV anime adaptation! Titled Paradox Live The Animation, the series will debut in 2023. A new visual featuring the team leader of the project’s four music groups was revealed.
▍About Paradox Live
Paradox Live is a multimedia project created by J-pop entertainment company Avex Group and otome game developer GCREST. Announced back in 2019, the project is set in the near future when a new music movement “Phantom Live” gains massive popularity among young people. Four music groups, BAE, The Cat’s Whiskers, cozmez and Akan Yatsura (translation: Bad Guys / 悪漢奴), are invited to a mysterious music festival. Differentiated from different music styles, the all-male music groups try to fight to the top.
The project includes CDs, voice dramas, live concerts, and more. A stage play adaptation was also announced for this fall. The project’s second album will release this July, featuring the winning song of cozmez and songs performed by the Legendary MCs, BURAIKAN.
