Netflix released a trailer for the anime, Kakegurui Twin, the spinoff to Homura Kawamoto and Toru Naomura’s Kakegurui – Compulsive Gambler manga. The trailer unveils more details on the show’s cast, and staff and a preview of the ending song “Queens Bluff” by i☆Ris. Kakegurui Twin is set to premiere on August 4 on Netflix.
Netflix also unveiled information on the new cast members, with Rinna Hoshizumi as Tsuzura Hanatemari, Yō Taichi as Yukimi Togakushi, Yuko Kaida as Sachiko Juraku, Aoi Koga as Mikura Sado, Seiichirō Yamashita as Aoi Mibuomi, and Rie Takahashi as Sakura Miharutaki
Set one year before the events of Kakegurui, the story follows Mary Saotome who joins Hyakkaou Private Academy. Learning for the first time about the school’s bizarre gambling system, she has to adapt to her new situation and become a master at gambling.

1 year before the events of Kakegurui, Mary Saotome transfers into Hyakkaou Private Academy, hoping for a new life. She quickly learns that the school is not as it seems, as the bizarre school system means gambling is a matter of life or death. Determined to carve out her own name, and help her childhood friend, Mary Saotome adapts to the vicious world of gambling and grows to become as addicted to gambling as she is later known for.
