Aniplex published the second trailer of the Engage Kiss comedy anime that is set to debut on July 2. The trailer introduces fans to six additional cast members and previews the ending song, “Love Brain” (恋愛脳), which is sung by Akari Nanawo.
Furthermore, the mobile game adaptation of the anime, Engage Kill, will accept pre-registrations this summer. Lastly, manga author Itachi will launch a manga adaptation via Manga Up! on July 2, and a new key visual for both the game and the anime was revealed.
The anime is set in Baylong City, an artificial island city established, outside of any country’s jurisdiction, in the Pacific Ocean to exploit local natural resources. In particular, the mining of the new energy resource “orgonium” has resulted in an outbreak of “D disasters”, a phenomenon that attracts demons to the city. Private military companies (PMCs) are tasked with dealing with these incidents.
