NCSoft released the first trailer for Project M (tentative), an interactive movie-like game to be released on consoles. The story and ending of the game depend on the player’s choices, with live-action-like graphics, cinematic effects, and the delicate facial expressions and movements of the characters, thanks to the power of the Unreal Engine 5.
“We hope to communicate with players by disclosing the development process of the games that NCSOFT is making. We will continue to actively disclose our game development process in various forms such as videos, interviews, novels, and webcomics”, commented Choi Moon Young, the director.
In the trailer, we can see technologies such as 3D scanning, motion capture, and VFX all being to express the characters’ expressions and movements in detail, and the live-action level high-quality graphics and effects based on the latest Unreal Engine 5 can be seen.
