A TV Anime adaptation was just announced for the rom-com light novel series, Danjo no Yūjō wa Seiritsu Suru? (Iya, Shinai!!) (Can a Boy-Girl Friendship Hold Up? No, it Can’t!!!)) by author Nana Nanana and illustrated by Parum. If you’re unaware of the series, you can check out the rather epic musical PV released for the series below.
The anime’s announcement was made on Twitter along with a special illustration by the light novel’s artist Parum.

▍About Danjo no Yūjō wa Seiritsu Suru
The light novel series follows the relationship between long-time friends Hikari Inuzuka and the flower-loving Yu Natsume. Their friendship continues even throughout high school. Trouble occurs though, when two years later in autumn, Yu runs into his first love again and is once again love-struck with Rion Enomoto. Will the friendship between Hikari and Yu last? or will it change into something different?
As of writing, the light novel series has sold over 200,000 copies, as well as having a manga adaptation with its first tankobon volume released in May, 2022.
