On the latest issue of Shounen Jump+, it was announced that Wataru Momose’s Romantic Killer manga will be getting an anime adaptation on Netflix. The debut date is planned for October 27. A teaser video is also revealed for the announcement
Romantic Killer is a slapstick adolescent love comedy about a high school girl, Kyoko Hoshino, who is a non-heroine and has spent her entire life playing video games without paying attention to fashion or love, and a magician, Lili, who appears to help her find love. The new paper editions of volumes 2 through 4 will be released on October 4.
Rie Takahashi will voice the main character Kyoko and Mikako Komatsu will voice Lili. Ichikawa Kazuya will be directing the animation, and Oba Koyuri will be handling the series composition. Matsuura Yusa will be the character designer at studio domerica. YURiKA is performing the opening theme song “ROMA☆KiRA”.
