Developers Striking Distance released a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming 3rd-person survival horror shooter, The Callisto Protocol. The new trailer gives us a closer look at the game’s stealth mechanics, enemy interactions and mutations, and how melee combat works, with enemies being able to deflect your attacks and regenerate mid-combat.
The game launches for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on December 2

▍Callisto Protocol Gameplay
Callisto Protocol is a 3rd person over-the-shoulder shooter featuring mutated humans and horrifying enemies. The game takes heavy inspiration from Dead Space, being directed by Glen Schofield, creator of the Dead Space series. Shoot, toss, and avoid enemies, and strategically aim at certain body parts to weaken and gain an edge.
The game features an ability to suspend and throw animate and inanimate objects in the world, allowing you to freely use the environment to quickly dispatch enemies.
