Capcom just unveiled that the second update to Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is coming on September 29!
The new update adds A6 Anomaly quests to the game, and in turn expands Qurious crafting, as well as adding the long-awaited Layered Weapons system to the game! Two new monster variants, Violet Mizutsune and Risen Chameleos are also coming to the game in this update!

Layered weapons are coming to the game! You can finally customize your weapon and not be holding a corn gunlance during your hunts! Version 1.2 also launches with the Lost Code Layered weapons DLC pack, to make your favorite weapons look even more slick, like they were straight out of a sci-fi game!
The rest of the new monsters have been unveiled coming to the game’s 2nd title update! This time we’ll be getting Flaming Espinas from Monster Hunter Frontier, along with firey new variants of Mizutsune and Chameleos! All three of these deadly these incorporate fire or blast into their attacks, so be sure to prepare with water or ice weapons, and build up your fire resist
▍New Anomaly Level and Qurious Crafting!
New monsters are coming to Anomaly Investigations, which means we’ll be getting A6 Level investigations, along with higher monster levels that go up to level 120!
Because of this, Qurious crafting is now stronger than ever, allowing you to add even more slots and give your weapons and armor even more powerful bonuses! Hunt, faint, try again, and keep rolling the dice just to min-max your hunter!
