Developer MAGES announced that its upcoming visual novel, Summer Time Rendering Another Horizon launches for the Nintendo Switch and PS4 on January 26.
The game is a “time leap adventure” visual novel following the events of the anime. You take on the role of Shinpei following multiple routes involving many characters in the series with new events, and scenarios happening from their point of view, never seen from the anime. As a visual novel, most of the game’s story is conveyed through text, with occasional choices that branch the story off in wildly different ways.
An English version has yet to be announced.

Summer Time Rendering Another Horizon is a visual novel taking place in the same world as the anime. The events of the story are mostly the same however the game follows five different routes you can play with, including Ushio Kofune, Hizuru Minakata, Mio Kofune, Tokiko Hishigata, Tetsu Tomomura and a new original character by Yasuki Tanaka, Koyuba Kaori.

As a visual novel you’ll be experiencing the story from Shinpei’s perspective, going through the events of the story in text with voice acting and making occasional choices that will drastically change the story.
Fight, flee, or decide on the fate of others and unveil the multiple endings to each character’s route as you uncover the mystery behind the shadows, and save Hitogashima Island and its inhabitants.
