At today’s Resident Evil Showcase, Capcom revealed the 2nd trailer of the highly-anticipated Resident Evil 4 remake, featuring more gameplay footage and iconic moments of Ada and Ashley in the game.
You can now pre-order Resident Evil 4 Remake on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC starting today, with various versions coming with different goodies. Owners of the PlayStation 4 version of the game can also freely upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version should they wish down the line. This new remake is out on March 24, 2023.
Pre-order the Standard Edition to get the Attaché Case: Gold and Handgun Ammo Charm, which you can use to customize the in-game attaché case.
If you pre-order the Deluxe Edition or the Collectors’ Edition, however, you’ll also get the Green Herb charm and the Attaché Case: Classic skin.
▍Deluxe Edition & Collector’s Edition
Two editions of the game will be available. The first is the Deluxe Edition, which will include the base game plus Costumes for the character, additional Treasure Maps, accessories, and two DLC weapons.
And then we have the almighty Collector’s Edition, which will include the base game with all of the deluxe edition’s bonuses and pre-order bonuses, a Leon S. Kennedy figure, and much much more! Honestly, if you are a huge Resident Evil 4 fan, I wouldn’t miss out on this.
Lastly, if you pre-order the game digitally through the PlayStation Store, you can obtain the Resident Evil 4 Mini Soundtrack as a pre-order bonus.
▍Resident Evil 4 Remake Improvements
You can now parry attacks by pressing the prompted button, but now, players will have to manage their inventory by utilizing the attaché case, which has both a 10 x 7 grid and a 5 x 9 grid. Each item takes a certain amount of space, so you must organize your items accordingly.
Herbs are fused just like in the original game, and rare gems can be exchanged for special items, as well.
