Following its schedule back before Sumeru was added, Genshin Impact‘s next version 3.2 update continues the tradition of adding new playable characters, events, quests, and galore. Though this time around, the long-awaited Dendro Archon, Nahida is set to arrive as a playable character. Alongside this, we’ll be able to witness the conclusion of the three-part Archon Quest with us face-to-face with Scaramouche, one of the Harbingers of the Fatui.
Expected to arrive on November 2, we’ll be covering everything that was shown off in the Genshin Impact Version 3.2 Special Program last night.

▍Nahida and Layla Join the Roster
New patch, new banner. Like the previous versions, 3.2’s wish banners will be split up into two halves throughout the duration of the patch.
As was teased in the prior tweets by the official account as well as posts on Genshin Impact, two new characters will be added to the game in the 3.2 updates for Genshin Impact. One of which is the Lesser Lord of Sumeru and the Dendro Archon herself, Nahida! A 5-star Dendro catalyst wielder, Nahida will be featured in the first half of the limited gacha banner alongside a rerun for Yoimiya.
The second half of the banner, while not having a brand new 5-star, does feature a new 4-star in Layla. A Cryo element sword wielder, Layla will be featured together with the rerun banners for Yae Miko and Tartaglia in the second half of the update.
▍ Face Off Against New Bosses
The Balladeer, aka Scaramouche, is set to be the new weekly boss that will likely be introduced in the Archon Quest that coincides with the 3.2 updates. It also looks like a tiny floating pod will be tagging along to the fight to assist, and players will need to charge up and fire lasers to down the towering mech.
Alongside Scaramouche, the Dendro Hypostasis will be added as a world boss that will drop the ascension materials necessary for Nahida. Get those resins ready!
▍Events Coming to Genshin Impact 3.2
New events are where HoYoverse experiments with different gameplays for the game, and that’s no different this time around as the 3.2 update features a trove of different game modes to sink your teeth into.
“Fabulous Fungus Frenzy” will see players catching and training fungi to partake in fights Pokémon style. Train them up, make chum for them and unleash them in different combat challenges to become the very best that no one ever was. Notably, clearing the event to certain criteria will even net you free recruitment of Dori to your team as well!
“Adventure’s Trials” is an unusual event that has you use different characters in party game-like challenges. Shown on stream was a soccer-like challenge where players control Klee or Yanfei and cause overload reactions to fling the slimes into goal posts. Another challenge has players zip around collecting coins as fast as possible using Yelan’s skill and another is a literal baseball batting game using Beidou’s counter skill.
“Hypostatic Symphony” is a rerun that previously debuted back on version 1.2 of the game. This time around, 4 different hypostases can be tackled, including the newly added Dendro Hypostasis!
The “Outside the Canvas” event returns from version 2.6 with better camera controls and newly added story beat that players will bump into, all the while out in the wild taking photos of inspiration.
▍Serenitea Pot and Language Updates in Genshin Impact 3.2
The house decorating Serenitea Pot feature gets a much-awaited new glow-up in Genshin Impact 3.2 with the new “replication” system. With this, players will be able to save, share and copy designs with others with a single press of a button.
Additionally, Turkish and Italian UI/text language options will be added along with the update!
