Developer Image Power released a new trailer for its upcoming first-person horror simulator and monster creator, Creature Lab, announcing that the game will be officially launching on January 19.
In Creature Lab players get to channel their inner Dr.Frankenstein and mad scientist, experimenting with human and animal body parts, elixirs, potions, dastardly chemicals and horrifying machinery to create the world’s most fearsome creatures, and unleashing it upon the world! Be careful though as the world’s always looking to halt scientific progress, and the hand of the law could find out and put a stop to you.
Creature Lab is set to launch on January 19 for PC via Steam for USD$19.99.

In Creature Lab, you take on the role of a Mad Scientist, but not one with aspirations of creating robots or weapons of mass destruction, but to create the next biological monstrosity.
That’s right, your goal is to create monsters that would make even Mary Shelley jealous! Forget about conventional wisdom, your goal is nothing but pure evil, and you’ll start off by mixing various dangerous chemicals, to whip up the ultimate potion that can revive the dead!
Once you’ve done so you can start scouring for body parts and mutate the human body. Dissect, extract, and modify the human body to its peak by borrowing from animal, insect, and monster biology.
The game offers endless replayability as each session with having a different variety of chemicals, forcing you to adapt to the ones you are given and giving you loads of new and exciting mutagens to work from and discover their powers.
The game features a complex inventory system where you’ll need to manage, and steal resources from the outside world to acquire more upgrades to your lab, expanding its space and unlocking new facilities. Be careful though, as you begin to become more bold in your endeavors, the government may soon find you, and you can throw them off your trail by spreading panic through the world, or misinformation on the web.
Strategize, experiment, and be creative with what limbs and monster attributes you can take from all manner of life, and create the perfect monster teams and chemical combinations to ensure successful raids in the city, and world domination.
