▍Hades 2 Gameplay
Hades 2 takes place years after the first Hades title, this time following Melinoë as she is trained under a mysterious witch in order to battle through the underworld, meeting a wide assortment of gods gaining powerful boons and powers.
The first hades was a rogue-like dungeon-crawling game, with each run of the game taking you through different locations in the underworld while you use a variety of weapons and upgrades to make each run unique.
Gods revealed in the trailer include Moros, the personification of Doom, Apollo the god of Light, and while not name-dropped, it was heavily implied we will be dealing with Chronos in this game, the namesake of time and father to all gods.
New buffs were also revealed including this screenshot below, which could be a replacement for the hammer buffs in the first game, granting new bonuses to basic abilities regardless of the weapon type you bring to a stage. A new resource was also revealed in Magick, and Melinoë is seen casting a kind of AOE spell in part of the trailer, with the game possibly having more spells you can bring to a stage on top of, or even in place of weapons.
