A whole nine years after Armored Core Verdict Day was released, FromSoftware finally took the time to stop working on Soulsborne titles and finally released a trailer for Armored Core 6, dubbed Fires of Rubicon.
Little is known about the title, but from the trailer, we can see the world was enveloped in flames from a horrifying weapon and what looks like a black hole on the planet. Afterwards, the world was enveloped in a long cold ushering in a new ice age, while factions and humans continue to fight with gigantic and powerful Armored Cores
Armored Core 6 is scheduled for release in 2023 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Armored Core is a series of Third-Person Shooter mecha games developed by FromSoftware, before the developers were known for creating the Souls series. The game takes place on Earth after it had been wiped out by a cataclysmic event and forced humanity to take refuge underground. But the war still rages on the surface, as corporations, and corporatocracies have created Armored Cores, gigantic mechs that battle for supremacy in a bid for resources, with mercenaries and Pilots fighting for the highest bidder.
