▍About Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana
Ys Memoire: The Oath in Felghana is a remaster of the 2005 title of the same name which is a remake of YS III: Wanderers from Ys. Just like in that title, Adol Christin and his friend Dogi are on a trip to Dogi’s hometown in Felghana three years after the events of the first two games.
Their peace and trip is quickly put to a halt when they find out the town is being threatened by a great evil, and so the pair go on a journey to put an end to end to their suffering and bring back peace.
Oath in Felghana is a 3D-action RPG with the camera in a top-down perspective. Players control Adol as he explores Felghana and fights bosses and enemies with swift slash attacks and a variety of weapons. Boss fights play similarly to bullet hell encounters with bosses having wide-sweeping ranged attacks, but thankfully Adol has the long-sought ability to jump to avoid obstacles and climb.
