Idea Factory’s Otomate brand has revealed the key visual and opening movie for the upcoming Temirana Koku no Tsuiteru Hime to Tsuitenai Kishidan (The Princess of Fortune and the Knights of Sorrow) otome game, which will be released on the Nintendo Switch on April 27, 2023. In addition, the cast members and a sneak peek at the game’s systems were also revealed.
The romance adventure game is set in a world where the month in which one was born determines one’s social status and occupation. The story circles around a cursed princess who struggles to bend her fate with the five ikemen novice knights.

This is a world where status and occupation are all determined by the month of birth. In the country of Temirana, located in the far east of the world, a baby with a birthmark on her forehead was born as the third princess about 15 years ago.
The baby was rumored to be a “cursed princess” and was forced to live separately from her family in a mansion far from the castle. But then came a turning point in her life. One day, just before her 16th birthday, she saw five men with a strong light that dazzled her at the “Helice Duellum” dueling tournament.
Yes, this “cursed princess” had a special kind of luck. When she was in mortal danger, objects and places would appear to glow, as if to warn her to avoid them. Those around her who knew of her great luck advised her that the light might have been caused by a dangerous person, but she was not like “that light” she had seen before.
The princess trusted her instincts and decided to invite the glowing men to join the knighthood. However, some of them have no experience in swordsmanship, and some of them are not even interested in knighthood.
With such a small group of only five knights, will the princess be able to overcome the “disaster” that is about to befall her?
