The TV anime adaptation of Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, the survival manga written by Haro Aso and illustrated by Kotaro Takata, is set to air in July 2023. A teaser trailer and key visual of the anime were unveiled along with the announcement.
The manga, currently serialized in Shogakukan’s Monthly Sunday Gene-X, is a story that follows Akira Tendo, the main character, who works for an enslaving company, waking up one day with his usual “I don’t want to go to work” to shortly after seeing the city full of zombies.
Kazuki Kawagoe is the director of the adaptation with Hanako Ueda as assistant director, Hiroshi Seko in charge of Series Composition, Kii Tanaka as the character designer, Junpei Fukuchi as Zombie designer, Makoto Miyazaki as music director, and Bug Films animation production. Shuichiro Umeda plays the role of the main character, Akira Tendou.

To commemorate the TV anime adaptation, a gift campaign will be held to award a color paper illustration by Aso and Takata to one lucky winner who follows the official Twitter account (@Zom100_anime_JP) and RT the target tweet. The winner will be chosen by lottery and entries will be accepted until January 22.
