Electronic Arts and Motive Studio have released a launch trailer for their upcoming remake of the survival/horror and sci-fi game Dead Space before its launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via the EA app, Steam, and Epic Games Store on January 27, 2023.
As revealed on the game’s official website, the story of the Dead Space remake has been reworked and expanded to have a better continuity with the wider universe around the franchise, adding a bit more lore or making some adjustments to the lore, and linking better with the later games, books, comics, and the movie.
In addition, some secondary characters received a bit more screen time and personality overall, such as Nicole and Mercer. And characters like Jacob Temple and Elizabeth Cross, who only appeared in audio logs in the original game, now get some screen time and have a role to play in the Dead Space story.
