In a recent press statement, Nexon just announced that the company is working on a new open-world action RPG based on the Dungeon and Fighter / DNF intellectual property.
The game will be coming globally to PC, console, and mobile devices with cross-play support and is currently known as Project DW. Apart from that however details for the project are still incredibly sparse, though hopefully more will be revealed in the coming months.
Project DW is another spin-off project announced based on the Dungeon and Fighter IP, after Project BBQ, a 3D action game based on Dungeon Fighter Online, and Dungeon Fighter Overkill which looks to be a remake of Dungeon Fighter with 3D graphics made in Unreal Engine 4. This also comes after the reveal of Arad Chronicle: Kazan, a souls-like based on Dungeon Fighter’s world.
Project DW currently has no release date, as it was just announced.
