Nintendo announced that it will hold a new hero summoning event in its tactical RPG for iOS and Android, Fire Emblem Heroes, featuring characters from the upcoming main game in the franchise, Fire Emblem Engage, which is scheduled to release for Nintendo Switch on January 20.
Running from January 17, four heroes from Fire Emblem Engage including Dragon Child Alear, Floral Protector Alfred, Joyous Royal Céline, and Fairy-Tale Flier Chloé will appear as 5-Star heroes in the gacha pickup.
In addition, in this summoning event, the “Summon of Choice” will occur twice in total and one of the 5-Star Engage heroes can be obtained for sure after the 40th and 80th summon.

■ Dragon Child Alear (Hero) – CV: Laura Stahl
Alear, is a Hero from the continent of Elyos. Apparently, she’s a Divine Dragon who slept for a thousand years on a floating island called the Somniel. When she awoke, she couldn’t remember a thing, save for her name.
■ Floral Protector Alfred (Rearmed Hero) – CV: Nick Wolfhard
Alfred, the crown prince of Firene. He may seem delicate at first glance, but he has a bold and daring personality. He’s super-positive and super-determined.
■ Joyous Royal Céline (Hero) – CV: Rachelle Heger
Céline, the princess of Firene, a kingdom known for its flowers and tea. Given her gentle demeanor and ability to draw in others with her natural charm, it should come as no surprise that she can easily befriend anyone.
■ Fairy-Tale Flier Chloé (Hero) – CV: Elizabeth Simmons
Chloé, a pegasus knight from Elyos. She’s a retainer to Céline, the princess of Firene. A noblewoman that loves beautiful scenery and fairy tales. Combine that with her gentle personality, and just being around her is enough to make anyone feel at ease.

During the event period, players can get their hands on Fitness Fighter Etie, as a reward for both a login bonus and by completing event missions. In the Grand Hero Battle, you can also get Dragon Monarch Lumera as an event reward.
■ Fitness Fighter Etie (Hero)
Etie, a Hero from the continent of Elyos. A noblewoman of Firene, she’s an archer in service to prince Alfred. At first glance, you may think her a demure lady who suits her genteel upbringing, but you’d be very mistaken. Etie has a casual demeanor and, just like her liege, loves to work out!
■ Dragon Monarch Lumera (Hero)
Lumera, the Divine Dragon Monarch is worshipped by the people of Elyos. She is an awe-inspiring figure who truly loves humanity—so much so that she’s been watching over the people of Elyos for 3,000 years!
▍Fire Emblem Heroes x Fire Emblem Engage Gift Bonus
If you play the Fire Emblem Heroes game on your smartphone, you can get a special in-game Order of Heroes item set that can be used in the Fire Emblem Engage game on Nintendo Switch when launched.
In order to receive these rewards, you must link your Nintendo Account in Fire Emblem Heroes with the same account that you will use to buy the game and download it to your Nintendo Switch.
