publisher Drecom and developer Studio 2PRO announced that they are postponing the release date of the mobile 3D dungeon RPG Wizardry Variants Daphne/ Wizardry VA from its original early 2023 to a vaguer TBA status.
In a tweet on their official Twitter, the developers explained that the game was initially aiming for a 2022 fiscal year release which concludes on March 31. However, the tweet goes on to claim that the game would have to take commensurate time to iron out its wrinkles and improve the overall quality of the title.
Though the announcement did not establish a concrete release date, Drecom’s third-quarter financial results briefing uploaded on YouTube revealed that the game is now set to release somewhere in 2023.

Wizardy Variants Daphne takes place primarily in first-person, with you as a knight exploring the dungeon with other adventurers and party members. Each room of this dungeon is brimming with things ready to kill you, and it’s up to you to safely navigate your party, as every loss in your group could bring you closer and closer to your defeat.
