New Features in Sonic Colors: Ultimate

Adding more than just improved graphics, Sonic Colors: Ultimate also includes new quality-of-life features alongside new game modes to spice things up. Here are some of the many contents added to the remaster.

Tail Saves now are scattered all around each Act of zones, effectively replacing the traditional life system. While Tails himself is unfortunately non-playable, collecting one of these balloons allows Sonic to cheat death once, should he fall in to games many bottomless pits, at which the Tails Save is automatically spent, and puts Sonic back to his last known location.
