Dead Cide Club, the upcoming 2.5 free-to-play side-scrolling battle royale shooter by Korean developers Dev Sisters officially has a launch date, and it’s not too far away on February 27.
The developers released a new launch trailer that follows its previously released cinematic trailer, showing off gameplay of players fighting against mutated creatures, and giant bosses, and looking for loot in several areas including an abandoned mall, parking lot, underground facilities, and office spaces.
Dead Cide Club is also making its way to the PS5, though its launch on the console will be coming at a later, unannounced date. But for the foreseeable future, if you want to get in on trying the game a little early, you’ll be able to grab it on Steam on February 27.

▍About Dead Cide Club
Dead Cide Club is a battle-royale 2.5D shooter with the goal of the course to be the last man standing. The game adds more to the space than just being a side scroller, by placing several enemy types on the map including monsters and zombies to let you upgrade your weapons, and earn money.
What was supposed to be a mission to infiltrate BELOBOG labs, kill the target and escape turns into a nightmare as it turns out the building is infested with hundreds of mutants, the undead, and monsters lurking around every corner, each with money stuffed inside of them.
Inside the coins is a message, “Welcome to the party, gentlemen”, and soon a broadcast is spread throughout the building…
“The rules are simple. Kill each other to survive. The last person standing will win it all.” As shots begin to ring out and the sounds of music and money echo throughout the hall, it’s time to start the party.
Dead Cide Club offers a variety of tools to help you during combat, including a grappling hook that can be used for both traversal, or combat as you can use it to pull yourself towards enemies, closing the gap. Other tools include a shield that can block attacks or be used as an offensive tool. Scattered throughout the map are also vending machines and supplies that can appear at any time, giving you a new layer of strategy and something quickly adapt to on your feet.
While the game is in 2D, don’t think that this will give you and every enemy an overwhelming advantage, as certain areas of the map are dimly lit and enemies can still get behind cover, letting you take enemies by surprise.
The game has multiple cartels and characters to pick from, each with different perks and abilities you can unlock to fit your playstyle. Customize your character and unlock new cosmetics and items to make yourself stand out amongst the crowd, and take the Jackpot.
