At a pre-release stream held yesterday, Exnoa announced that Blue Reflection Sun will officially be available on February 21 for iOS, Android, and PC in Japan. The latest title in the series that first began in 2017, the mobile title brings the dream team-up of character artist Mel Kishida, Koei Tecmo (Gust), and DMM Games right at your fingertips.
The new mobile game is released as a part of a three-part “cross-media project”, including the console/PC title Blue Reflection Tie and the TV anime adaptation Blue Reflection Ray.
The synopsis of Blue Reflection is based on the Hoshinomiya girl’s high school in modern-day Japan. The game begins explaining that the world is covered in Ash, a substance that causes irreparable damage to the human body, while the girls are tasked to fight off vicious monsters by taking on the form of “Reflectors”, the powerful magical girls able to harness the power of Ash for their own.
In tandem with the pre-release stream, the official Twitter for Blue Reflection Sun has unveiled a new promotional music video. The track “Clock Works” (クロックワークス) is composed by singer-songwriter/Vocaloid producer syudou and performed by Mafumafu. The collaboration music video predominantly shows the cast of the game, fully illustrated and animated by series character artist Mel Kishida.

▍ About Blue Reflection
Blue Reflection is an RPG first launched in March 2017 in Japan for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Players take the role of Hinako Shirai, a ballet dancer who due to a knee injury no longer can dance, but is given magical power allowing her to fight and move freely.
The game follows a day cycle, which sees Hinako attend school and spend time with classmates, and visit another world where she fights monsters in a turn-based battle system. By becoming close friends with her classmates, Hinako can use their support abilities from them in battle.
