The staff behind Saku Sakamoto’s upcoming anime film Feast of Amrita unveiled a new trailer that previewed the voice of a character from Sakamoto’s previous film.
The voice actress is none other than Hanazawa Kana, who previously played the role of Rin in Saku Sakamoto’s previous film Aragne: Sign of Vermillion. The trailer also revealed that Aragne: Sign of Vermillion will be getting a refined version with over 60 revised shots. Saku Sakamoto is solely responsible for the production, writing, animation, music, and direction of the film.
Both films will debut in theatres on May 26 in Japan.

Feast of Amrita is a prequel spinoff to Saku Sakamoto’s previous film Aragne: Sign of Vermillion. The film follows a high school girl Tamahi who encounters strange and monstrous creatures while investigating a massive apartment complex with an odd shape.
The film leads into Aragne: Sign of Vermillion, where a university student named Rin rents an apartment on the outskirts of town in a housing complex that looks run down, grim, and almost lifeless. As she spends her days in the complex she realizes all is not what it seems, as grizzly sights and occult occurrences happen in the building, and something sinister lurks in the shadow.s
