The staff behind the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime series based on Masashi Kishimoto and Mike Ikemoto’s manga series confirmed that the series is getting a second part, and it’s already in production.
The Boruto anime will be airing the final episode of Part 1 with episode 293 on March 26, and while there’s no release date for Part 2 yet, the studio announced that there will be more details for the Boruto anime’s follow-up in the future, as the studio will also be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the anime’s debut by broadcasting select episodes of Naruto in July. The studio also briefly announced that a brand new anime project spanning 4 episodes will be coming in September.
As part of the announcement, it’s also been confirmed that on September 2 and 3, artists Humbreaders and Anly will be performing at the Naruto the Live concert celebrating the series’ 20th anniversary, along with many others like Kana-Boon
