Yukiko Nozawa and Rikito Nakamura’s incredibly ambitious romantic comedy manga series, The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You (君のことが大大大大大好きな100人の彼女) is getting an anime adaptation!
The announcement came with a new visual for the series showing off our main character and sweetheart Rentarō Aijō, with his first two girlfriends Hakari Hanazono, and Karane Inda! The three will be voiced by Wataru Katoh, Kaede Hondo, and Tomita Miyu respectively!
The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You follows Rentarō Aijō, a young high school student who has been rejected 100 times over his life, but after a chance encounter with God finds out he’s destined to have 100 soulmates and will do anything to love, and dote every single one of them!
The anime currently has no official release date.

▍About The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You
The 100 Girlfriends is a harem romantic comedy manga series written by Rikito Nakamura and drawn by Yukiko Nozawa and has been published in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump since 2019, with its chapters readable online on the website.
The series follows Rentarō Aijō, a high school student who throughout his entire life has confessed to 100 girls, with every single one of them rejected him, with the last one being a rejection on his middle school graduation. He then heads to the local shrine and prays to a god that he will finally get a girlfriend in high school, suddenly the god literally answers his prayers by appearing in front of him, and proclaims that everyone is supposed to have exactly 1 soulmate.
… Except for Rentarō, who due to some error on God’s part will have 100 soul mates, and soon enough on his first day of high school he meets two girls who both become his sweethearts, at the same time!
What follows is a hilarious romantic comedy where Rentarō refuses to make any girl sad, leading him to be in a relationship with every single girl that falls in love with him determined to make every one of them happy!
