Bithell Games announced that it will be launching Tron: Identity, a new visual novel adventure game, on April 11, 2023 for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. It also revealed a new gameplay trailer showcasing its decision-based storytelling, and impressive graphics reminiscent of the 1982 original sci-fi classic.
Tron: Identity is set in a new Grid, where an unprecedented crime has been committed, and it’s up to Query, a detective program, to uncover the mystery of what was taken and by whom.

The story of Tron: Identity takes place in a Grid forgotten by its creator and left to evolve without User intervention, with The Repository standing at the center of this society. The future of the Grid hangs in the balance after a break-in, and it’s up to Query to recover the stolen data and bring the culprit to justice.
Players will interact with a range of intriguing characters, each with their own motives and personalities, and they’ll decide whether to ally with them or not. The game features a multitude of possible outcomes, good and bad, depending on the choices players make. Players must recover the lost memories of the characters they interact with in their search for answers, puzzling their way through defragging Identity Discs.
