Square Enix announced that the “friendship-bonding simulation adventure” game Ketsugou Danshi: Elements with Emotions will release for Nintendo Switch in Japan on June 29, 2023. The game will also arrive on iOS and Android devices this summer.
The developer also revealed a new opening movie previewing the game’s opening song sung by the cast with music created by Elements Garden. A manga adaptation of the game has also confirmed its serialization at Square Enix’s Manga Up! online manga service starting March 26.

In Ketsugou Danshi, players will bond together with the Shikenkan – boys that wield the elements of the periodic table, as the world comes to an end in 50 days. The player takes on the role of a mediator who has to create various chemical reactions by combining the power of the Shikenkan and fighting against the enemy force.
The game plans to have up to 45 routes and 90 endings, with four characters released together with the base game and an additional six characters to be added later on after release as paid DLC.
