Indie developer Buriki Clock and publisher Annulus announced that the horror adventure game Chloe’s Requiem -encore- is heading to PC via Steam on June 20. The game will support English, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese language options.
As a complete remake of the original release from 2013, Chloe’s Requiem -encore- features graphical and sound upgrades with all in-game assets being completely revamped. The remake will also touch up the character art, with music and voice lines newly rerecorded.
The game comes with the extra story “-con amore-” included, which can be unlocked after players complete the original story.
Heavily inspired by contemporaries in the genre such as The Witch’s House and Ao Oni, Chloe’s Requiem is a 2D adventure horror game that chronicles the story of Michel the violinist, and Chloe a pianist as they fatefully find one another in a strange mansion. The two must escape a seemingly cursed residence making use of their musical expertise to solve the various puzzles that stand between them and freedom.
Buriki Clock, the title’s developers are a two-man doujin circle who have released several free-game titles online mainly using the RPG Maker tool. Amidst their catalog is the original Chloe’s Requiem from 2013, which was first released as a free downloadable shareware game.
