The Mr. Osomatsu anime franchise’s return is nigh, as a new trailer was released for the 2nd film celebrating the anime’s 6th-anniversary, Mr. Osomatsu: Takoyaki Party and Legendary Sleepover, along with a new visual and its theme song.
The new trailer previews the theme song “Zenryoku Batankyū Metal Arrangement” performed by the group AŌP. If that sounds familiar, that’s because this is a metal arrangement of the same theme song used for Season 2 of the anime, and it’s being performed by the same group!
Mr. Osomatsu: Takoyaki Party and Legendary Sleepover anime film is set to debut on July 21 in Japanese cinemas.

▍About Mr. Osomatsu
The series is a Japanese comedy manga series by Fujio Akatsuka, who began serializing the work in 1962. The series received multiple adaptations in, games, films, live-action films, and two anime series, one that began in 1966-1967, and another beginning in 2015 with a new stylized and colorful art style to celebrate the series’ 50th anniversary.
The story follows the Matsuno sextuplets, Osomatsu, Karamatsu, Choromatsu, Ichimatsu, Jyushimatsu, and Todomatsu, who are all identical but have different personalities. They are lazy, and mischievous, and often cause trouble for their family and the people around them. The series is a parody of Japanese culture and society and often features references to popular anime and manga.
