After revealing the Yakuza spin-off Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name last week, RGG Studios has added another installment to the mainline game. Titled Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, it will be coming in early 2024 for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.
The eighth installment is a direct sequel to Yakuza: Like a Dragon where an unexpected chain of events sets two legendary ex-yakuza, Kasuga Ichiban and Kazuma Kiryu, on a larger-than-life adventure as dual playable protagonists.
The newly revealed trailer starts off with Kasuga Ichiban suddenly waking up on a random beach in what appears to be Hawaii. But…as it happens, he’s naked, right in the middle of the beach. After a passerby tells him to look down, well…he realizes it soon after. Not much else was revealed, but more updates should be released at the RGG Summit broadcast, which will be happening on June 16.
