Fighters get ready, as Tekken 8 will be having a closed network test as early as July 21, letting players try out the game a little early and to help stress-test the game so the developers can get an idea of what they need the servers to be like on launch!
The game’s closed Network Test will be available over two weekends, The first test, available exclusively on the PlayStation 5 begins on July 21, 16:00 [SGT] to July 24, 15:00 [SGT]. The second test, available to players on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam begins on July 28 16:00 [SGT] to July 31, 15:00 [SGT].
Due to a planned maintenance period, however, the second test will be a little shorter than the first one, as it won’t be playable from July 29 16:00 to July 29 19:00. It should be noted that players on PS5 that have access to the first test, can continue playing the game during its second test.
The game’s latest trailer for its CNT also revealed that Claudio is returning to the game with a new look and that we can expect the next character trailer to feature the Exorcist himself with his glorious hopkicks!

The game even brings back an old fighting game staple in special intros depending on the characters that show up to battle!
